Obituary for Adelaide "Addie" King (Green)

Mrs. Adelaide “Addie” King of Carbonear passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 26. Mrs. King was 93 years old.

She leaves to mourn her loving family:

Son: Fred Jr. (Milly) King
Grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason) Woodford, Kim (Spencer) Diamond, Shannon (Cathane) Legge, Curtis Bickham (Angela), Mark Bickham, & Mary Ann (Ryan) Cole
Great-grandchildren: Matthew & Andrew Woodford, Max Diamond, Kennedy & Taren Legge, Sadie Bickham, Kylie & Dawson Cole
Sister-in-law: Eileen Green
Special Friends: Florence Pike, Elsie Manning, & Mary Hogan

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear on Monday: 2:30-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her loving memory to a charity of one’s choice.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 2 P.M. from the Edward Slade Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment will follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.

By the family's request, please note masks will be mandatory for the visitation and funeral service.
