Obituary for Jean Parsons

Mrs. Jean Parsons of Upper Island Cove passed peacefully away at her private residence, Bay Roberts on Monday, February 7, 2022. She was 83 years old.

She leaves to mourn her loving family:
Husband of 65 years: John C. Parsons
Son: Tony (Carol)
Daughter: Sharmane (Gary) McCarthy
Grandchildren: Dawn (Brian) Coombs, Lance (Pam) Parsons, Lauren (Adam), Ashley (William) & Ryan (Kelsey)
Siblings: Louise (Leo), Mary (Jim), Lil (Mike), Marg (Gord), Sally (Wally), Bert (Stella), Cliff (Jocelyn) & Leonard (Jessie)
Siblings-in-law: Josh (Barbara) & Daisy (Ches)
Life Long Friend: Jenny Bishop

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Conception Bay Highway, Spaniard’s Bay on Wednesday: 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to a Charity of One’s Choice.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 2 P.M. from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove. This will be by invitation only.

Proof of vaccination and government issued identification will be required for visitation and the funeral service.
