Obituary for Andrew Murray

Passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Sunday, February 28, 2021, Mr. Andrew Murray of Carbonear, aged 94 years.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 72 years, Mary, and his children: Patricia (Richard-deceased), Catherine, Andrew Jr. (Sue), Alice, Kevin (Kathy), John (Janice), Natalie (George), Jackie (Greg), Bill, Gregory (Bonnie) & Elaine (Mark);his grandchildren: Tyler, Shawna, Craig, Vincent, Colette, Sonia, Stephen, Alison, Shannon, Justin, Lindsay, Jason, Vanessa, Christopher, Brooklyn, Kaitlyn, Noelle, Andrew, Mathew, Zachary and Evan; great-grandchildren: Beth, Nate, Avery, Nolan, Colby, Nate P., Joel, Joshua, Gracie, Kellan, Xander, Caleb & Portia; brother: Jack and sister: Jean. Predeceased by parents; William and Sarah Murray; grandson: Kyle, brothers and sisters: Catherine, Carmel, Bill, Mike & Phil.

A kind, hardworking, happy, gentle man who loved his family. Welcoming and engaging to all he met, a smiling face known to so many, now so missed.

Resting at Slade’s Funeral Home, Carbonear. Due to current Public Health guidance relative to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private committal service will take place on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at St. Patrick’s R.C. Cemetery, Carbonear.

To celebrate his well lived life, donations may be made to St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Carbonear.
