Obituary for Beulah M. Mercer
Mrs. Beulah May Mercer, (nee Russell) – of Coley’s Point passed away peacefully at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Mrs. Mercer was 88 years old.

Children: Irving (Iris) Russell, Randell (Donna) Mercer, Byron (Dianne) Mercer & Debbie Mercer (Pete Jerrett) Grandchildren: Scott Russell, Christopher Russell, Shawn (Maureen) Mercer & Erin (Andrew) Coates
Great Grandchildren: Chantelle, Ryan, Alex, Colton, Tristan, Wyatt & Caroline
And a large circle of nieces, nephews, family & friends

Beulah was a homemaker in every sense of the word. Visits from family and friends always involved beautiful meals and baked goods that years later would still be commented on. A rock for her family, she was always there for encouragements and guidance. As a member of “The Car Club”, Beulah enjoyed many day trips and excursions with her girlfriends. This group evolved into “The Birthday Girls”, as any excuse to celebrate and eat out. She later joined the Bay Roberts 50 Plus group, where she excelled as a bowler and again enjoyed excursions and activities.
Resting at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Saturday, February 22, from 10:30 a.m. - 9:00 pm; and Sunday, February 23, from 10:30 A.M. - 12 Noon.
Funeral service to take place at Grace United Church, Coley’s Point on Sunday, February 23 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at the Grace United Cemetery, Coley's Point.
