Obituary for Daphne Mercer

Mrs. Daphne Mercer of Shearstown passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, St. John’s on Saturday, November 7, 2020. Mrs. Mercer was 75 years old.

She leaves to mourn her loving family:
Children: Darlene Clarke (John Dinn), Heber (Lori) Mercer & Jennifer (Greg) Lynch
Granddaughter: Olivia Lynch
Sister: Sadie (Bruce) Sheppard
Brothers in law: Allan (Irene) Mercer & Wayne Mercer
Sisters in law: Mildred Mercer (Selby), Evelyn Walters, Roslyn (Walter) Russell, Barbara (Calvin) Lynch & Sandra Mercer

And a large circle of loving nieces, nephews & family. Also her coffee & day trip buddies and many other special friends, too many to mention.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, L.T. STICK DRIVE, BAY ROBERTS, on Tuesday: 3-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her loving memory to the Arthritis Society of NL or to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Shearstown.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from St. Mark’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Shearstown. This will be by invitation only.
