Obituary for David Russell Yetman
Mr. David Russell Yetman of St. John’s, born in Coley’s Point, passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Mr. Yetman was 78 years old.
He leaves to mourn his loving family:
Daughter: Michelle Yetman of Windsor, On
Grandsons: Shannon & Timothy
Siblings: Yvonne Wells of Bay Roberts, Carol (Ray) Parmentier of Aurora, ON, Darrell (Patti), of Whiteway, Derek (Glenda) of Bonnyville, AB & Neil (Ruby) of North River
And a large circle of family & friends

Parents: Frank & Clara (Russell) Yetman
Sister: Shirley (Wallace) Ballantyne
Brother-in-law: Harold
David retired from De Havilland in 2004 after a long career with the company. He moved home to St. John’s after his retirement and later moved to Callingwood Downs Retirement Residence, Clarkes Beach.
Cremation has taken place.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at Slade’s Funeral Home, 45-59 L.T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2-5 & 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to a Charity of One’s Choice.
As per David’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. An Inurnment will be announced at a later date.
