Doris Mary Bartlett April 15 1934 - Sept 24 2022
With elegance and grace our beautiful mother will walk through the gates of heaven to take her place with the angels to sing loudly, and rejoice in a body free from pain and suffering.
There to welcome her home with loving arms: her parents, Ronald and Violet McCarthy, sister, Emma (Cyril) Butler, brother and best friend in life William McCarthy.
Leaving with grateful but heavy hearts to mourn her absence; Four daughters Catherine (Dan) Stokes , Donna Reid (Joe), Alicia(Dan) Kelly and Doris Bartlett Jr. sons Ronald (Pauline) Bartlett, William (Margaret) Bartlett, 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren, 2 nieces Cecilia Butler (JayeVan Wheelie) and Violet (Andy) Savoury and their children Compassionate and caring caregivers: Roxanne Snow, Kelly Mercer, Amanda Winters Debbie Sutton, Arlene Mercer, Karen Vokey and Special Caregiver of 14 years, Angela Squibb. Along with a large number of extended family and friends.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear on Monday: 1-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her loving memory.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11 A.M. from St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Riverhead Harbour Grace with interment to follow at Immaculate Conception R.C. Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
