December 23, 1925 to May 12, 2022.
Edward Francis Dawe son of Bert and Belle Dawe was born on December 23, 1925 in Port-De-Grave. He was known as Frank to everyone who knew and loved him. He passed away peacefully at the age of 96 at Carbonear General Hospital on May 12, 2022 surrounded by his family.
Frank was a fisherman then became a carpenter. In his spare time he built us bobsleds for sledding in the winter, took us trouting at Ocean Pond during summer and truly enjoyed building the little boats that you would always see in Port-De-Grave pond.
He was loved and respected by all especially for his pleasant personality and work ethic.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie; his children: Sharon (Rob), Shawn (Rohanda) and Lisa (Mark); his grandchildren Hazel, Ellen, Mark, Amanda, Brandon, Kyle and Katie; great grandchildren: Elise, Jacob, Stephen and Patrick. He is predeceased by son: Peter; daughter: Kimberly Lynn and granddaughter: Katelyn.
He will always be loved and sadly missed, he will be in our hearts forever!
