Mr. Gerald J. George passed peacefully away in St. John’s on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in his 85th year.

Gerald leaves to mourn:
Wife: Heather (Dawe)
Sons: Gerry (Marcy), Art & Roy (Diane)
Stepsons: Billy Harvey (Loni) & Corey Harvey (Bethann)
Grandchildren: Faye (Camille), Geana, Mark (Bridgette), Amy, Alison, Julie, Joshua (Nikita), Heather (Ryan), Desiree, Brynleigh & Leighton
Great Grandchildren: Nevaeh, Riley, Nyah, Owen & Sullivan
Sisters: Bride Finn, Nora Reynolds, Betty (Bill) Pumphrey & Julia (Gordon) Trickett
Brothers: Pat & Loyola (Diane)
Sisters-in-law: Remona, Winnie, Wendy, Gladys (Winston) Bussey & Daphne (Bill) Greens-Slade
Brother-in-law: Harold

As well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends

Brothers: Eddie, Mike, John & Jerome
Brothers-in-law: Emmett Finn & Jerome Reynolds

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear on Friday: 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. At Gerald’s request the family ask that there be no flowers.

The Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2 P.M. from the Edward Slade Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. This will be by invitation only.

Condolences may be written to the family at: , on the Memory Wall section of the obituary. For further information please call Slade’s Funeral Home, Carbonear at 596-1212.
