Mr. Gerald Patrick Linehan, aged 94 years, Korean War Veteran, PPCLI, passed peacefully away on Friday, July 3rd, 2020 at his son Michael’s residence in Perry’s Cove formerly of Admiral’s Beach.

Predeceased by his wife: Bridget (Bride) 2012; his parents: Patrick & Theresa Linehan; parents-in-law: Henry & Florence Power; brothers: Ronald, John (Rita), William (Marg), Allan (Genny), Edmund (Mary), Kevin (Jenny) & Vincent (Matilda) and sisters: Annie (Arnold) Anderson & Pauline (Leonard) Power.

Leaving to mourn his daughter: Linda (Howard) Gibbons and sons: Michael (Lynette), Donald (Sharon), Ronald (Laura), Rodney (Sherry) & Scott (Karen); Grandchildren: Neil (Danielle) Gibbons, Noel (Yvonne) Gibbons, Dion (Karolyn) Gibbons, April Linehan (Ryan White), Melanie Linehan (Bradley Oliver), Braeden Linehan (Autumn Lambert), Joshua Linehan, Justin Whitten, Christopher Whitten & Stephanie Whitten; Sisters-in-law: Marion (Lar) Doody, Genny Linehan, Jean Power & Annie O’Rourke as well as nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Donations in his memory may be made to Wounded Warriors Canada or Good Shepherd Parish, P.O. Box 30, St. Joseph’s, NL A0B 3A0.

Cremation has taken place, Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions, visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date.
