Obituary for Marina Smith
Mrs. Gladys Marina Smith of Bishop’s Cove passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Mrs. Smith was 84 years old.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:

Grandchildren: Karen (Jimmy), Kimberley (Stephen), Kevin (Robin) Smith, Stephen Poirier, Patrick Smith, Jeremy Dove (Kimberly Powell), Jordan Dove (Adrianna Lear) & Joshua Garland

Great Grandchildren: Joanne, Johnathon Victoria, John, Liam, Octavia & Drew

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove on Saturday: 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M., Sunday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Monday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to St. Peter’s Anglican Church Restoration Fund.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 2 P.M. from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove. Interment will follow at a later date.
