Obituary for Godfrey Allan Drover
Mr. Godfrey Drover of Spaniard’s Bay passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He was 89 years old.
He leaves to mourn his loving family:
Children: David (Jason) Drover, Linda (Dave) Saunders, Lorraine (Jim) Lawrence & Derrick (Michelle) Drover
Grandchildren: Carol, Trevor, Roxane, Angela, Jamie & Ethan
Great Grandchildren: Andrew, Jake, Evan, Isabella & Ellie
And a circle of other relatives and friends

Wife: Shirley (Mugford) Drover
Parents: John & Mary Drover
Sisters: Laura (Mike) Flemming, Elaine (Rudy) Laroque & Frances (Leander) Barrett
Brothers: Gerald (Dorothy) Drover & Ron (Greta) Drover
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, C.B. Highway, Spaniard’s Bay on Thursday: 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M., Friday: 12 Noon-9 P.M. and Saturday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his loving memory to a Charity of One’s Choice.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2 P.M. from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard’s Bay. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Anglican Cemetery, Whitbourne.
Masks will be required for visitation and the funeral service.
