So sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. My sympathy and condolences to his family. I pray that God will give you comfort and strength as you mourn and move through the challenging days ahead.

Growing up in a small community we knew all the children and youth around our own age. Some we got to know we’ll through opportunities to “hang out” together. That happened with Gordon and I, particularly when he started attending the Pentecostal All Grade school in Ship Cove. I remember Gordon as a gentle and kind young man who could also be a difficult person to get around when he was on the opposite hockey team ... never in a mean way. We would always be friends after. Our ways parted after I left Port de Grave after finishing school. However, we did have occasion to meet a couple of times over the past years.

On the chance that you may not have this picture, I have added a photo of the grade 10 and 11 class of the Port de Grave Pentecostal School.

God Bless you all,
Calvin Belbin

Our hearts and prayers are with you all, thinking of all the great memories you spent with him, will help you get through...I can remember many Monday mornings at work he would talk about Sunday shopping at Costco, he might not have admitted it, but I think he enjoyed as much as you did... he was a wonderful person...hugs❤️
