Passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Carbonear General Hospital surrounded by her loving family, Mrs. Hazel Matilda McCarthy (nee Tucker) of Upper Island Cove. Age 90 years.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:
Daughters: Cecilia, Christine (Brian), Patsy (Bruce) & Madeline
Son: Ralph
Grandchildren: Stephanie (George), Jennifer (Jeremy), Angie, Lindsey (James), Ashley (Sean) & Brandon

The family would like to thank Dr. Butt, Dr. Howse and the staff of the 6th floor Palliative Care Unit at the Carbonear General Hospital for their compassionate care of Mom. Special thanks to her Home Care Worker, Brenda Perham.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove on Wednesday: 3-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
