Obituary for James Wade Stone
Mr. James Wade Stone of Bryant’s Cove passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, December 2, 2022 surrounded by his 2 sons and his loving family. He loved his siblings, sons, grandchildren, his neighbors and his little buddy Trevor.
He leaves to mourn his loving family:
Sons: Jason (Jackie) & Shawn (Lisa)
Grandchildren: Mackenzie, Brent, Clark, Kate & Claire
Brothers: George, Terry, Robert, Grant
Sisters: Bonnie, Patsy, Darlene, Verna, Hattie & Gertie
And a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Predeceased by:
Parents: Archibald & Isabelle Stone
Brothers: Steven, Tony & Lloyd
Sisters: Judy & Marjorie
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Carbonear General Hospital and Dad's homecare workers for their care and compassion.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, CRANES ROAD, UPPER ISLAND COVE on Monday: 12 Noon-4 P.M. & 6-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to the VOCM Happy Tree at www.vocmcares.com.
Funeral service will take place at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Bryant’s Cove.
