Dot, so sorry in hearing of Johnny's passing. Although he was not a resident of Rothermere house, he certainly was considered an equal to anyone who resided there. He was well thought of, respected and he certainly knew how to have a good time. We know we have a lot of fond memories of Johnny during our university days, hopefully these memories will provide you some comfort during these difficult days. Our deepest and sincere condolences. Deepest condolences from the administrative team of Discovery Collegiate in Bonavista. Johnny was the caretaker at Rothmere House when both of us attended MUN in the 1980's...he was indeed a fine man and well respected by the residence crew.

Dot. Sorry to hear about John’s passing. For many of us at Rothermere House in the 80’s, John was a huge part of our house. We even snuck John into our House picture to show how much respect that we had for him. I spoke to many of the boys and we wanted you to know that we will miss him. He is included in many of our fond memories of our days at Rothermere. Shawn White
