Obituary for Joseph Hogan

Mr. Joseph Hogan of Carbonear passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Mr. Hogan was 80 years old.

He leaves to mourn his loving family:
Daughters: Joanne Hogan & Mary (Kenneth) Shugarue
Grandchildren: Emily & Gregory Shugarue
Brothers: Steve Hogan, Bren (Pearl) Hogan & George (Carol) Hogan
Sisters: Marian O’Leary, Patricia (Vic) Novacek, Rosemary Hogan, Peggy Hogan & Paula Hogan
Brother-in-law: Edward (Dorothy) Delaney

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear on Sunday: 7-9 P.M., Monday: 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday: 9-10 A.M. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his loving memory to St. Patrick’s R.C. Church Restoration Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. from St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Carbonear.

Masks are encouraged to be worn during visitation and the funeral mass.
