Obituary for Joseph William Langer
It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph William Langer of Heart’s Desire, announce his passing on June 29, 2022 at the age of 80 years.

Brothers: Vincent Langer, Eugene Langer, Junior Langer, Cecil Langer & Eric Langer
He leaves to mourn:
His loving children: Patti Critch (Rick), Dean Langer (Eileen), Joe Langer, Cindy Langer (Kevin), Kathy Nadon (Greg) & Marty Wells (Debbie)
Son-in-law: Keith Critch
Daughter-in-law: Tammy Mulroney
Grandchildren: Joshua (Kaitlyn), Kaitlin (Chris), Katelyn (Josh), Jessica (Jesse), Brandon C, Stacey (Allan), Terri-Lynn (Justin), Keira, Kayla (Howard), Adain (Keara), Brandon M (Rebecca), Brittany (Brad), Casey (Randy) & Alexis (Craig)
Great Grandchildren: Aurora, Odin, Abigail, Aubry, Sierra, Emmett, Hunter, Jenna & Jackson
Siblings: Phyllis Langer, Joyce Clarke (Frances), Paul Langer (Sandra) & Henry Langer (Olga)
And countless other family and friends.
Dad was a kind, honest, loving man who loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. His second love was hockey. He was a devoted Philly fan until the day he died. He liked to have a social drink and talk about the good old days with anyone who would listen… and I mean he could talk! His favourite fishing hole was Terrences Pond, our local water supply and his favorite place to be was home here in Newfoundland…And now he’s home to stay. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. But there’s comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. We love you Dad (Pop).
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Sacred Heart Mortuary Chapel, Heart’s Desire on Saturday & Sunday: 2-4 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. from Sacred Heart R.C. Church & Cemetery, Heart’s Desire.
Masks are encouraged to be worn for the visitation and Funeral Mass.
