Obituary for Justin J. Huggett

JUSTIN JOHN HUGGETT 1981-2022
Quirky, witty, funny and intelligent are just a few of the words that describe our "Jussy". Having had 4 open
heart surgeries by the age of 15 and ultimately being diagnosed as a person with autism at age 38 had
made his life challenging. He suffered with depression most of his adult life. He said that being diagnosed as
autistic was like winning the lottery because he finally knew why he was "different". Oh how we all wish we
had known sooner and been able to offer him the understanding and compassion that he needed.

Today at age 41, Justin lost his battle with depression. We are beyond broken hearted. We truly can't fathom a life without him in it! But for Justin, life was more pain than it was worth. So he's gone travelling on his next journey, hoping to find the peace and lasting happiness that eluded him in this life.

Forever missing him are his Dad, John Huggett (Annette), his mother Sherril, his sister and best friend, Jaime Huggett ( Nancy & Liam), his Nan, Clara Perchard and his newest love, his 10 month old Airedale Terrier, Clara (named after his Nan) Plus many family and friends.

No specific celebration of life is planned because we will be celebrating him every day. He was an unforgettable and incredible man that made an indelible impact on all our lives. We are unable to imagine our tomorrows without him.

Should you want to honour Justin you may donate to The Autism Society or the SPCA. Better yet,
take time to learn more about autism and even more about depression. That would be the greatest gift of all.

Your support, love and prayers mean so much!
