Obituary for Kevin Francis McCarthy

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Kevin Francis McCarthy of Upper Island Cove, age 66 years, with his loving niece Tammy by his side at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Loving Niece Tammy Galway, her husband Gregory Galway and great nephew Austin Galway

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove on Wednesday: 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Thursday: 10-11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 12 noon from St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Riverhead Harbour Grace. Interment will follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.

The wearing of masks are required for visitation.
