Mrs. Leone Basha of Carbonear, passed peacefully away at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Monday, April 18, 2022. She was 83 years old.
She leaves to mourn:
Husband: Bern Basha
Children: Paul (Karen) Basha, Stephen Basha & Wendy (Bob) White
Grandchildren: Shannon (Lisa) Basha, Robert (Kerri) Basha, Adam (Lisa) Basha, Sammi Basha (Adam Johnson), Alex White (Abby Crocker) & Rhiannon White (Josh Rodgers)
Great Grandchildren: Jax & Jace Basha & Simon Basha
Siblings: Ethel (Maxwell) Andrews, Robert (Jean) Jenkins, Sidney (Iris) Jenkins & Gerald (Lurley) Jenkins
Sisters-in-law: Veronica Sosh, Angela Lombardi & Lillian George

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Powell Dr, Carbonear on Wednesday: 7-9 P.M. and Thursday: 2-5 & 7-9 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. from St. Patrick’s R.C. Church and Cemetery, Carbonear.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted and may be made in her loving memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Masks are required for visitation and funeral service.
