Obituary for Lillian (Marie) Stone (Gosse)
It is with saddened and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Marie Stone of Bryant’s Cove on Tuesday March 14, 2023 at the age of 77 years.
She passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loving family. A special thank you to Dr. Bandrauk and the nurses of the ICU for their compassion and care.
Marie was a kind, loving and caring person who always put others ahead of herself. She was a lover of VOWR, TV bingo and enjoyed the view from her rocking chair. Her light will always continue to shine through her family and music.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:

Daughter: Wanda (Scott) O’Connor
Sons: Darrin (Kim) & John (Sandy)
Grandchildren: Chad (Pam), Denelle (Christopher), Deanne (Dylan) & Alyssa (Brady)
Great Grandchildren: Hailey, Carley, Jenna, Madelyn & Ryan
Sister: Gladys (Johnny) Drover
Sisters-in-law: Joan, Mary, Isabelle & Alice
Grand Puppies: Lily, Riley, Posha, Milah & Special “Angel” Pepper

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove on Wednesday: 7-9 P.M. and Thursday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 2 P.M. from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Bryant’s Cove. Interment will follow on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2 P.M. from St. Andrew’s Anglican Cemetery, Bryant’s Cove.
