Psalms 107:23-30 says that “Those who travel to the sea in ships…have seen the works of Jehovah and his wonderful works in the deep…They cry out to Jehovah in their distress…and he leads them to their desired harbour.”

Lloyd always loved the sea and boats - from his youthful days as a deckhand on vessels transporting gravel from Bell Island to Bay Roberts, to working in the fish processing industry in his later years of life. Lloyd was always happy for an opportunity to be afloat, as shown by the picture in the photo gallery of Lloyd standing on the deck of the longliner “Blue Marlin II” at Carbonear.

As promised at Acts 24:15, Uncle Lloyd, with Joyce as his First Mate, will no doubt spend many more days afloat – voyaging under far more ideal conditions when the Kingdom (Revelation 12:10) that Lloyd spent years supporting takes over control of our earth in the not-to-distant future! Lloyd’s “desired harbour” of perfect life in an earthly paradise (Psalms 37:29 & Matthew 5:5) will have been reached!
