Mrs. Margaret French of Carbonear passed peacefully away at her private home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Mrs. French was 96 years old.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:
Sons: Cecil French, Ross (Catherine) French & Bruce French
Daughters: Mary (Robert) Smith, Carol (Paul) Douglas, Beverley Sanders & Debra (Philip) Smith
Grandchildren: Roxanne Smith, Paul Douglas, Jr., Michael French, Roger French, April French, Christopher French, Holly Sanders, Sally French, Philip Smith (Cindy Jones) and Robert Smith
Great Grandchildren: Brooke Smith, Katie Smith, Jordyn Smith, Connor French, Brady French, Jessica French, Christopher French, Sydney Sanders & Madeline Douglas
And a large circle of family and friends

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear on Sunday: 11 A.M.-12 Noon & 2-5 P.M.. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 2 P.M. from the Edward Slade Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment will follow at Bethany United Church Cemetery, Carbonear. This will be by invitation only.
