It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mum, Gramma and Great Gramma, Maureen Hynes of Vancouver, BC and Otterbury, Clarkes Beach, NL.

Leaving to mourn are her adoring children: Dennis Hynes (Cheryl), Cindy Morrissey (David), Gordon Hynes (Paula) and Kevin Hynes (Demita). Her loving grandchildren: Peter (Leighann), Dion (Krista), Jennifer (Andrew), Jessica (Jennifer), Denise, Brianna (Sean), Elora (Adam) and Makile (Melissa). Her sweet great grandchildren: Lydia, Rory, Finnick and Patrick who were her little darlings always. Also mourning her loss are her special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, near and far.

Predeceased by her husband: Denis Hynes; parents: William & Catherine Feeney; parents-in-law: Dennis & Josephine Hynes; Sisters: Jean and Kathleen; brother: George; granddaughter: Bailey and Sisters-in-law: Marie, Laura, Margaret and Anne.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sunshine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and doctors on the 7th floor at Carbonear General Hospital.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Thursday: 10 A.M.- 9 P.M. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her loving memory to Diabetes Canada.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11 A.M. from All Hallows R.C. Church & Cemetery, North River. This will be by invitation only.

Proof of vaccination and government issued identification will be required for visitation and the funeral service.
