Mr. Melvin Thomas Janes of Bryant’s Cove, passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Thursday, May 18 2023. Mr. Janes was 75 years old.
He leaves to mourn:
Wife: Ruby Janes
Sons: Glen (Elizabeth), Derek (Charmaine) & Gary
Grandchildren: Tiffany (Max), Matthew (Katherine), Lucas (Emily), Courtney (Ryan) & Steven (Claire)
Great Grandchildren: Peyton & Sadie
Sister: Vera (Ray)
Sister-in-law: Olive

The Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 8:30 P.M. from Slade’s Funeral Home, Upper Island Cove. Interment will follow at St. Andrew’s Anglican Cemetery, Bryant’s Cove on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 10:30 A.M.
