Obituary for Naomi Coombs (Adams)
It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother Naomi Coombs on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the age of 96. Her peaceful passing took place at Carbonear General Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband: William (Will) Coombs; parents: Alfred and Isabella Adams; daughter: Gwen Barrett; granddaughter: Angela Barrett and son-in-law: Mose Bradbury. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her son: Clayton; daughters: Flora Bradbury, Marina (Kevin) Coombs; son-in- law: Father Doug Barrett; grandchildren: Shawn (Paula), Blair (Sherree), Robert, David, Amy (Darryll), Michael (Jennifer) and great grandchildren Ryan, Rachael, Gabriel, Emily, Cassie, Rebecca and Kinsley.
Special thanks to the staff at Callingwood Downs where Naomi resided for the past couple of years. Special thanks to the 6th floor West staff of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital and the staff of the 6th floor of Carbonear General Hospital for the wonderful care that Mom received while in their care.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no visitations. A private interment will take place at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
