Mrs. Rita M. Lane of Bay Roberts passed peacefully away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was 82 years old.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:
Children: Sharon (Harold) Mercer, Kevin (Gail) Lane, Barry Lane, George Lane (Kim), Bob (Karen) Lane & Denise (Shawn) Lane
Son-in-law: Ed
A number of Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren
Siblings: Anne (Norman) Somerton & Melvin Mercer
Siblings-in-law: Thomasine Mercer, Dot Mercer & Wayne Thompson
And a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends

Husband: Michael Lane
Children: Brenda Dalton & Randy Lane
Grandson: Shawny
Parents: Robert & Anne Mercer
Siblings: Roy Mercer, George Mercer, Charles Mercer, Lloyd Mercer, Doris Thomson & Bert (Shirley) Mercer
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Monday: 7-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 2 P.M. from St. Patrick’s R.C Church & Cemetery, Brigus. This will be by invitation only.
Proof of vaccination and government issued identification will be required for visitation and the funeral service.
