Mr. Roy H. Mercer of Upper Island Cove passed peacefully away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, June 17, 2022. Mr. Mercer was 88 years old.
He leaves to mourn his loving family:
Children: Rhonda (Con), Maxine (Nathan), Carol Ann (Raymond), Hubert (Glenys), & Donna (Philip)
Grandchildren: Shawn (Sarah), Jennifer (Chris), Steven (Ashley), Brian (Kim), Collin, Brittany, & Allyson
Great Grandchildren: Benjamin, Anna, Ivey, Quinnlyn, Jameson, & Dominic
Sisters: Martha (Ralph), & Ester

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Cranes Rd, Upper Island Cove on:
Saturday: 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
Sunday: 10:30 A.M. – 12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
Monday: 10:30 A.M. – 12 Noon
Funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove on Monday June 20, 2022 at 2 P.M. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations are gratefully accepted and may be made in his loving memory to the Autism Society
Masks are encouraged for visitation and funeral service.
