Mr. Samuel Lane of Cupids Crossing passed suddenly away at his private residence on Monday, January 17, 2022. Mr. Lane was 84 years old.
He leaves to mourn his loving family:

Daughter: Carol-Ann (Harvey) Butler (nee Lane)
Grandchildren: Adam (Tiffany) Butler & Rebecca Butler
Great Grandchildren: Paige & Gavin Butler
Sister: Alice Baldwin
Best Friend: Buddy

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Friday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Saturday: 10:30 A.M-12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Samuel Lane Memorial Fund. Email Transfers can be sent to sladesfuneralhomenl@gmail.com, password: samuel. Please include a note stating what or whom the donation is for.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 2 P.M. from St. Patrick’s R.C church & Cemetery, Brigus. This will be by invitation only.
Proof of vaccination and government issued identification will be needed for both visitation and the Funeral Service.
