Shirley H. Anthony - December 6, 1943 - May 1, 2022.
It is with deep sadness that we had to say goodbye to our Mom Shirley H. Anthony who passed away peacefully on May 1, 2022 at the age of 78 in Halifax, Nova Scotia from natural causes. Our Mom’s last two years on living with dementia she would speak of the pride and love she had for her children, grandchildren, family and friends
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Sharon (Tony) & Beverley (Brian); son: Scott (Wanda); grandchildren: Rebeccah (Ish), Christopher, Katelyn (Mitch), Devon (Chris), Kristyn (James) & Kenzie (Andy), Laura & Robert; son-in-law: Howard Stone; sisters: Rita, Marion (Marcel) & Mary; sisters-in-law: Rose Morgan & Maxine Morgan and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents: Herbert & Violet Morgan; daughter: Sandra Stone; brothers: Eldridge Morgan, Stan Morgan & Eric Morgan and brother-in-law: Wayne Mercer.
We take comfort in knowing that she lived her life by giving to her family up until her last days with us. She will forever be remembered by her strength, commitment and love for all that knew her. There is a void in our family and she will be missed.
Cremation has taken place in Nova Scotia. A memorial and interment will be held this summer in Newfoundland where our Mom will be laid to rest at the grave site of her parents.
