Mrs. Sylvia M. James of Bryant’s Cove passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Thursday, July 14, 2022. She was 85 years old.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, CRANES ROAD, UPPER ISLAND COVE on Sunday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Autism Society.
The funeral service will take place at 2 P.M. on Monday, July 18, 2022 from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Bryant’s Cove. Interment will follow on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 2P.M. from St. Andrew’s Anglican Cemetery, Bryant’s Cove.
