Mrs. Sylvia Mercer of Upper Island Cove passed peacefully away at her private residence on Friday, August 12, 2022. Mrs. Mercer was 85 years old.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:
Children: Geraldine (Sean), Harvey (Marjorie) & Everett (Nancy)
Daughter-in-law: Tina Mercer
Grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason), Jamie, Brian (Abby), Brendon (Ashley), Jasmine (Alex), Tyler (Lindsay), Ethan (Torie), Johnathan (Chelsea), Nathan & Jordan
Great Grandchildren: Allie, Xander, Harmony, Hayden & Theodore
And a circle of relatives and friends

Husband: Gerald
Parents: David & Belle
Children: Elizabeth, Rosalind & David
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to Ronald McDonald House or to the Janeway Child Health Centre.
