Our TCP Family has lost an important person to each of us. Tanya was the coordinator of fun, the director of fundraising, the organizer of activities and above all our friend. She was a member of our family. Tanya was the driving force that ensured all our children were included and especially loved. She was our biggest advocate. She always went above and beyond. She loved watching our children’s accomplishments. Big or small. Her favourite motto was “FOR THE CHILDREN”. She always remembered us - when it was a holiday, when we reached an important milestone, when we needed to celebrate and when we needed lifting up. Tanya always made sure we had a family get together for every special occasion. At Christmas time, Tanya and her mom Sharon organized a sit- down dinner. Santa and Mrs. Claus always made an appearance with gifts for all the children. We had lots of music, dancing and celebrating. Every summer Tanya and Sharon made sure we had a family camp. This camp required a tremendous amount of fundraising that is when they started our huge and successful TCP AUTISM FAMILY AUCTION. These auctions required a lot of time and energy. They generated enough funds for all families to attend and have the most wonderful adventure with their children. Tanya and her family are a major driving force - demonstrated through her commitment, dedication and love to our community, which has had many positive impacts. We will be grieving her loss. The loss of a mother, daughter, wife, aunt and friend. Our heart, our condolences and our thoughts and prayers go out to the Boone and Newman family - also the entire TCP Autism Community and friends.
