Obituary for Thomas Patrick Finn
Mr. Thomas Patrick Finn passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, Wednesday, January 18, 2023, age 82 years. Predeceased by parents Ron and Rita (Hammond) Finn, Eva Cavelle (Gosse) Finn and brother-in-law Arthur Gosse.
We all cherished our time with Tom and although gone he will never be forgotten. Anyone who met Tom would attest to his kind and polite ways. Tom had a love of learning that led him to complete a Bachelor of Commerce at St. Mary's University and won the Birks (Halifax) Highest Aggregate 4th Year Commerce Medal. He also had a love of hockey and softball and was inducted into the Spaniard's Bay Sports Hall of Fame.
Leaving to cherish his memory, his loving daughter Rochelle Case (Wally); grandsons: Garrett & Griffin and son: Dennis; siblings: Elizabeth Finn, Genevieve Nesvacil- Austin, Texas, Ron (Renee) Finn - Fort McMurray, Bernadette Arsenault (Maurice), Margaret Adey & Frances Pitcher.
Many thanks to the care given by his long-time home care workers and the nurses, doctors and staff at Palliative Care.
Cremation has already taken place.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, 488 Conception Bay Highway, Spaniard’s Bay on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 2-4 P.M.
