Mrs. Vera Ruth Sharpe “Nanny Grandma” of Upper Island Cove passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Mrs. Sharpe was 80 years old.
She leaves to mourn:

Grandchildren: Joanne (Jerry) Reardon & Justin (Jillian) Adams
Great Grandchildren: Devin & Rebecca
Sister: Madonna (Gerry) Day and their family
Members of the Gosse, Sharpe & Oke Family
Special Friends: Patsy, Diane, Gail & Hazel
Family Pets: Charlie, Cashew & the girls
And a large circle of other family & close friends

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, 424 Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove on Sunday, January 8th: 12 Noon-9 P.M. and Monday, January 9th: 10:30 A.M.-1 P.M..
