Obituary for Violet Reid (Barrett)
Mrs. Violet Reid of Spaniard’s Bay passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, May 28, 2021. She was 96 years old.
She leaves to mourn:
Children: Elaine Vokey, Joan (Lionel) Guenette. Gary (Olive), Sharron (Doug) Piercey, Jean (Cliff) Perry, Brian (Elaine), Beverly (Tim) Hutchings, Wayne (Cora) & Karen (Fraser) Sheppard

And a large circle of family & friends

Husband: Clifford Reid (April 2006)
Mother: Elsie Murrin
Brother: Lorne Murrin
Sister: Daphne Dooley
Son-in-law: Clayton Vokey
The family extends a very special thank you to her caregiver Lisa Barrett for making it possible for Mom to spend her last few months in the comfort of her own home.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Conception Bay Highway, Spaniard’s Bay on Friday, June 11, 2021: 10 A.M.-12 Noon and 2-5 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to the SPCA.
The Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
