Obituary for William "Willie" Gosse
William “Willie” Gosse of Tilton, NL, born April 7th, 1942 passed peacefully away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving wife and family on April 15th, 2020.
William is survived by his wife Mary, of 55 years; 3 daughters: Jacqueline (Rick) Clarke, Betty Murrin & Lisa (Derek) Smith; 5 grandchildren: Candias Clarke, Larissa Murrin (Chris Smith), Adam Gosse (Sarah-Lynn Grenier), Amber-Lee Clarke (Cory Mahaney) & Justin Murrin (Brittany Fitzpatrick); Poppy Willie’s pride & joy, his 3 great-grandchildren: McKinley, Mason & Annie Mae and Sister: Ethel Healey, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Pre-deceased by parents: Ruben & Ethel Gosse; 4 brothers; 4 sisters and his son-in-law: William (Billy) Murrin.
Willie loved many things in his 78 years, hunting, a quick waltz on the dance floor with his dancing partner & wife Mary, playing countless tunes on his accordion for his family at every special occasion, chatting on the phone, Saturday night hockey, church on Sunday & many walks around the pond with his dog & best buddy, Rex. But anyone that truly knew him, knew that his Monday night lodge meetings with his Brothers o f The Chosen Few #153 & RBP #1335 was something that he truly loved. A loyal and respected member of the organization for nearly 60 years. Willie loved a joke and was a kind & loving man who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Cremation has taken place, service & burial to take place at a later date.
