With no more pain and suffering he will dance to Wipeout on the clouds. There is sure to be a celebration in heaven tonight as William L. McCarthy aged 74 years is welcomed into the loving arms of his parents Ronald & Violet McCarthy, sister Emmie & brother-in-law Cyril Butler. Greeting him at the rainbow bridge with slobbery kisses, looking for treats, his loyal companion Sultan to join him in his eternal rest.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, POWELL DRIVE, CARBONEAR on Tuesday: 10:30 A.M. - 12 noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. & Wednesday: 10:30 A.M. – 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his loving memory to the SPCA or an animal shelter of your choice.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Riverhead, Hr. Grace with interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Hr. Grace. This will be by invitation only.
Proof of vaccination and government issued identification will be required for visitation and the funeral service.
