It was a great pleasure to meet and stay with Clarence and Minnie in 2014 when my Nannie Barb and I visited NFLD. They welcomed us with open arms. Minnie served us a wonderful gigs dinner and Clarence kept us in stiches. I will never forget his phrases "Where me my glasses" or when he was telling me that Trudy and family were camping at Turn Over Park. I remember asking where that was and he told me that I had driven by it, but I insistent I hadn't....until I realized it was Terra Nova Park. He had such a great sense of humor and I'll remember his warm personality. Our condolences to Minnie, Trudy and Annette and the entire family. RIP. Tina (Taylor) Sanford and family

We have so many happy memories of Clarence and all of the times we visited with you in Bunyan's Cove, as well as Shearstown. He was fun loving, caring and very generous. We couldn't ask for a better friend and we will cherish the times we spent together with you both. Thinking of you Minnie, Trudy and Annette as you and your families go through this sad time and please know, if there is anything we can do, please let us know.

We were blessed to have met Clarence and Minnie during a very difficult time in our lives. We met at the Bliss Murphy Memorial Cancer Clinic when Clarence and I ( Jack) were both undergoing treatments. Each day we met at the clinic it was if we had known each other forever. We shared chats, well wishes and yes even laughter. They both were a bright spot in a time of nerves and uncertainty. Ever since that summer of 2018, we kept in touch updating each other on our health. We sure had hoped one day we would meet again under better circumstances but the time was never right. We feel very blessed to have met this lovely couple and will never forget the bond we shared. Our condolences go out to particularly Minnie and their family. Your memories must be oh so sweet and definitely filled with laughter. Hold tight to those and take comfort in knowing Clarence touched many lives, including ours.
