Obituary

Mrs. Margaret S. Mercer of Bay Roberts passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Mrs. Mercer was 64 years old.

She leaves to mourn her is loving family:
Daughters: Charlene (Ian Petten) Mercer & Aimee (Chris) Morgan
Grandchildren: Lucas, Paige, Riley, Olivia, Madison, Quincy, Mittens, Coco & Masiy
Siblings: Barbara, Kay, Florence, Debbie, Tina & Madonna
Partner: Sid
And a large number of nieces, nephews, family & friends
Pre-deceased by:
Husband: Lloyd
Parents: James S. & Florence Hall
Siblings: Gerald, Walt, Cal, Hal & Lorraine

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Monday: 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2 P.M. from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Bay Roberts. This will be by invitation only.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Margaret S. Mercer Memorial Fund. (Email Transfers may be sent to sladesfuneralhomenl@gmail.com , password: margarets. Please include a note stating what or whom the donation is for.)

To the Mercer Family,
On behalf of all staff and management at Atlantic Grocery Distributors Limited, we would like to express our sincere condolences on the passing of Peggy. Peggy was a valued and dedicated employee of AGD for 15 years. She was a wonderful lady and respected member of our team. The effects of her passing are being felt here by her fellow coworkers, Peggy will be greatly missed. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. God Bless.
