Obituary

Mr. Woodrow A. Compton passed away suddenly in the comfort of his home at the age of 68 years after a short and courageous battle with Cancer. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 43 years, Marilyn who was by his side until the end. His loving daughters: Stephanie (Mark) & Michelle (Paul), his granddaughters, known as “Pop’s Girls”: Allie & Karlie; his sisters: Magretta (Frank) & Brenda (Gary), Brothers: Garfield (Mary), Dorman (Patricia) & Leighton (Carolyn); Sisters-in-law: Carol (John) & Judith; Brother-in-law: Barry (Cathleen) and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by his parents: Velma & Albert Compton. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life in the near future.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.

Woodrow was a very hard and dedicated worker his entire life and an outdoorsman when he was home. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin. He loved his family dearly. He is gone but never forgotten and will live within us forever. Until we meet again.
