Dear Jennifer, Darlene, Heber, Sadie & the whole family,

I am so sorry that Daphne is gone. She was such a very special person, a light in the lives of everyone around her. When I was little, I felt a love from her that made me feel like her very own child, a kind of love that usually only comes from parents and grandparents, and I loved her right back. It's hard to process the loss of a person like that, especially for you, her real family, who were with her day in and day out through all the years. I know you are hurting so much, but that hurt tells you that you've had something so meaningful and valuable, which is something to cherish. As long as you cherish that, she will never really be gone.

With love and hugs,

Carla Badcock
